About us

Our passion for outdoor adventuring coincidentally brought us both to Utah, where we met and fell in love. After living in the desert for three years, we decided we needed more greenery and water in our lives again. We moved to Wisconsin, where Hans originally grew up, to start the next chapter together.
Loving good, clean food and giving our bodies the healthiest, freshest options that didn't break the bank had us daydreaming about starting a garden. When the opportunity struck for us to have a couple acres, we thought- what if we started our own small farm? We read many agriculture books, dove into research and gained experience especially at Greenbush Growing Co-Op. Thus, Pheasant Hill Farm was born and another adventure begins!
Now with our dream becoming a reality there is just one thing left to do - give back to our community! What is good food without lovely people to share it with? At Pheasant Hill Farm, we strive to close the gap between farmer and consumer and give our community the healthiest, most delicious vegetables. To do so, we restore soil health through regenerative farming and avoiding all pesticides and heavy machinery. We want to give back not only to our community, but to our land as well. Our goal is healthy soil, delicious vegetables, and happy families.
